Fall 2012
Dear Readers:
For this issue, we sorted through our stack of submissions and picked many of the humorous ones. Not all these pieces will draw chuckles, but we think most will make you smile. Learning to write soft pornography, parsing horse races, T.M.I. about one’s mother, and, once again, cat antics — all topics chosen to amuse.
Poems from over all the globe, fiber creations by artist Sheila Hicks, cellist Evangeline Benedetti talking with our music editor, Gena Raps, about her forty-four year career with the New York Philharmonic and listening to her play will keep you busy.
Once again, a delightful batch of Short Takes (this time, “Sports”) should inspire submissions to the next issue’s topic, “Gossip.”
We learn a lot about you by reading your submissions and comments (keep them coming… they are very important to the authors) so we thought you could learn more about who we are by seeing what else we have been reading this summer. Our lists are posted in About Us.
Check in to all the sections and enjoy our new fall offerings.
