We West Coast editors could not resist including a video about persimmons in our last issue before retiring. Through the past five years, persimmons and persimmon trees have inspired us. We love the glorious orange globes that hang on the tree’s limbs almost into the winter, the last fruit of the season. The image fits exactly with what we’re doing in this magazine by showcasing the talent and creativity of women over sixty
